フィンランドからやってきた写真家のアンニさんは7月16日、17日の二日間をかけて八甲田山に登りました。目的はアオモリトドマツです。正式名はオオシラビソというそうです。詳細は下記ウィキペディアをご参照ください。

一日目はあいにくのお天気でしたが、光が強すぎず撮影にはよい環境だったようです。この日はロープウェーには乗らずに、八甲田山まわりを車で散策。The first day is the rainy day, but it's good for taking photos. Because the sun light is not so strong. We drove around Mt. Hakkoda.
そして翌日は快晴。美しいです。 The next day was sunny day!
この日は岩木山までよく見渡せました。 We could see Mt. Iwakisan which is 50km apart from here.
ちなみにこの二日間は、八甲田山でかつて山岳ガイドをしていた渡辺みゆきさんというACACのボランティアチームAIRSメンバーの方にご案内いただきました。様々な能力をもつボランティアさんには本当にいつも助けられます。
This 2 day, one of ACAC's volunteer member Miyuki-san, a former guide person in Mt. Hakkoda, guided us the mountain. The wide range professional local poeple is really important for our art project. They support the artists in many scenes. Thank you again!

「肌理と気配」に参加する、音楽家の野村誠さんは現在ACACでせっせと農作業中です。
音楽家と農作業とは、いかにも馴染みが無いように思われますが、これもれっきとした作品制作なのです。
NOMURA Makoto is farming at ACAC.
It doesn't look artist's work though, he is sereously making his art work.
野村さんは、銭湯やプールの中で地域の人と一緒に演奏会をしたり、葛飾北斎の絵の中に描かれている楽器を再現するプロジェクトを行ったり、また、2006年から2007年にかけてはNHK教育テレビの子供向け番組「あいのて」を監修、自らも「あいのてさん」として出演したり、と多くの人や場所、環境などを巻き込みながら音にまつわる活動を展開しています。
He is an Composer, keyboard harmonica/piano player, group composing facilitator. Also, He has organized concert in the pool or pubric bath with local people, or re-create the instrument which is drawn at KATSUSHIKA Hokusai's drawing. Also, he was the music director of the TV program "Ainote" by NHK, and performed as "Ainote-san" in 2006-2007.
そんな野村さんが今回ACACで試みるのは畑の楽譜です。ACACの宿泊棟の屋上部分は、深さ30cmほど土が敷き詰められており、今まではどこからか運ばれてきた野生の植物がたくましく生きていたのですが、野村さんはそこを耕し畑を作り、畝(うね)を五線譜、そこに育つ野菜を音符に見立てて作曲をしているのです。
Now, he is making score of field on the top of the residence hall.
The ridge will be 5 lines for the score and the vesitables wTill be the notes.
野村さんは６月に１度滞在し、その時に野菜の苗や種を植えて畑を整え、その後しばらく仕事のために青森を離れなければなりませんでした。
その間の畑の世話を託されたのは、青森公立大学芸術サークルのみなさんです。
芸術サークルは前回の淺井裕介さんの展覧会の際に制作ボランティアとして毎日のように来館していた1年生を会長としてこの４月に発足した出来たばかりのサークルです。
He stayed at ACAC and planted vesitables in June, then went out for the jobs,
so, during his absence, the member of the "Art cercle" of Aomori public colledge was taking care of the field.
芸術サークルは毎日朝は８時半の授業前に、夕方は６時の授業後に来て水やりをしてくれています。
水やりついでに観察日記もつけてくれています。
観察日記は野村さんにも大好評で、展示の時にも見れるかもしれません。
The students come to the field give the water to the vegitables, and writing the diary every morning and evening.
更には、鳥よけのためにかかしの制作も託されました。
デザイン監修は淺井さんです。
Also, made the scarecrow.
The scarecrow is designed by Yusuke ASAI and the students.

そして昨日かかし２体がお披露目に！
１体は畑の楽譜にちなんで指揮者かかし。
スーツの前部分を切り取り、背中に付けたして燕尾服に仕立てたという細かい技が光る代物です。
顔も空き缶を使っているので太陽の光を反射してビッカビカに光って鳥よけ効果絶大かと。
One is a conductor.
もう１体は三角コーンを使った菜園かかし。
野村農園に対抗して、コーン部分に土を詰めてそこに野菜を植えています。
Another equips the small field.
このかかし２体も展覧会でご覧いただけます。

展覧会まであと１０日、野菜はどこまで育つのか？
展覧会会期中も変化する畑の楽譜になる予定です。

今日は三内小学校２年生のみなさんが創作体験に来てくれました。
ちょっとむせるけど、虫除けスプレーをして葉っぱ探しに森へ入ります。
カッコイイ葉っぱ、かわいい葉っぱは見つかったかな？
今日の創作体験は「ＡＣＡＣに海あらわる」です。
まずは、青いテープで海をイメージ。
こんなふうに海の生き物が次から次へと・・・たこさん人気です。
にぎやかな海がＡＣＡＣに完成しました。
みんな上手でビックリしました。

先週後半からチラシの発送準備をしています。今回は、「肌理と気配」というタイトルにも見られるように、作品のディテールに注目するということもあり、参加する4組のアーティストの作品のある部分をクローズアップするかたちで4種類のチラシを作成しました。まもなく各所で手にとっていただけるようになると思います。ポスターは4種をそのまま掲載してしまう裏技的手法で、なかなか攻めの姿勢の面白いデザインです。今回の広報物は青森市在住のデザイナー千葉玲子さんによるものです。
We prepare to send the flyers and posters. We made 4 kinds of flyers for this program. We focused on each artists' work detail and clos up and cut the work photo. For the poster we put 4 flyers in the same flame. It was designed by CHIBA Reiko, a designer living and works in Aomori.
12日にはフィンランドより写真家のアンニ・レッパラさんとそのパートナーのトゥオモ・レイニオさんも到着。制作を本格化させるべく準備中です。明日は八甲田山まで撮影に向かう予定です。
By the way, one of the participating artist Anni LEPPALA, a finnish photographer, arrived at ACAC on 12th July with her partner Tuomo Rainio. Tuomo is also an artist. Anni already starts preparing for her new works.
展覧会まであと2週間。意外と時間がありません。野村誠さんの本日到着しました。展覧会オープンが楽しみです。

昨日ご紹介した夏のアーティスト・イン・レジデンス「肌理（きめ）と気配」参加アーティストの建築家ユニットassistantがACACにて作品制作を本格化させています。
We introduce the project of architects unit assistant, the participant artist for the AIR 2012 in summer "Kime to Kehai (Texture and Sense)."
assistantは2002年に松原慈（めぐみ）さんと有山宙（ひろい）さんにより設立されたユニットで、建築から美術まで様々な領域を横断しつつ幅広い活動を展開しています。ACACでは2010年2月に一度ワークショップをしていただいたことがあります。このワークショップはassistantが当時青森県立美術館で開催されていた「ラブラブショー」というグループ展に参加していたことから、県立美術館とACACの連携プログラムとして企画された2館にまたがって開催されたものでした。

The architects unit assistant was established by MATSUBARA Megumi and ARIYAMA Hiroi. Their activities are very wide range and interdisciplinary. We invited them for the workshop project 2 years ago. It's a kind of collaboration between Aomori Prefectural Museum and ACAC. You can see the detailed report through ACAC blog.

あれから2年以上が経過した今回は、ACACのギャラリーAの大空間を用いて建築的な作品の制作を進めています。今回の作品はなかなかユニークな発想でつくられていて、ACACのみで完結するものではありません。美術の作家はレジデンスでつくった作品を他の美術館や国際展で何度も発表することがよくあるのですが、建築は一度建ててしまったら基本的にはそこで完結します。今回のようなレジデンスの機会でつくる作品も、通常はインスタレーションとしてその場特有のその場限りの作品としてつくられ、展示がおわると壊して終了ということが多々あります。assistantはそんな状況に疑問を感じ、建築の新しいつくりかたに今回挑戦します。
具体的には、2010年から計画を進めて現在奈良で建設中の《33年目の家》という住宅の部分を複数の場所で制作・展示し、最終的にはそれらを奈良まで運んでひとつの家が完成するというプロジェクトです。ACACでは主に2つの部屋というか建物を制作します。大枠は大工さんとの大掛かりな仕事で、細部は手づくりで光などを取り入れてオリジナルのインスタレーション空間をつくります。ちなみに7月2日から10日までは東北大学が主催するせんだいスクール・オブ・デザインの招聘のもと仙台でも金属による家型の作品を完成させてきました。こちらは建築家フィリップ・ジョンソンのゴーストハウスへのオマージュだとか。これも最終的にACACの展示が終了する9月17日以降に青森の作品と一緒にいちど解体して奈良に運んで再構成して、住宅となる予定です。
仙台で実現した作品はせんだいスクール・オブ・デザインのウェブサイトにたくさん掲載されています。

This time we invite them for our Artist in Residence Program. They stay ACAC for 2~3 months to realize new project. They try to do really new and avant-garde work. Usually fine artists make new art work through residency program, after the finish of the residency, they often bring this work to other exhibitions or festivals. But for architects, once they built an architecture in a place, they cannot move it. It's fixed. Moreover, kind of architectural installations are break down after the exhibition closed. And a lot of garbages emerged. assistant are doubt this things and try to make new circulation of things and times.
It's the comment from Megumi about their project in Aomori.
Our project explores the parts of architecture as exhibiting pieces. A few selected parts of the House of 33 Years, a residence under construction in Nara planned to complete in Autumn 2012, will be built and verified by us in the exhibition space. After the show, those parts will be transferred to the actual site and be assembled to the house they should belong to. The project raises a question “Which is moving; people or architecture?”
